Brian Dawkins' Hall of Fame NFL career began when he was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the 61st overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft. Dawkins started the season as a backup, but by week four coach Ray Rhodes realized Dawkins' potential and named him the starter. He finished the season as the Eagles third leading tackler and tied for second in INTs with three. Dawkins went on to play for 13 seasons with the Eagles and had his number retired by the team in September of 2012.The Eagles wore this one year only white jersey in 1996.
